Ann Chisholm

Ann Chisholm

Founder · Coach

Ann founded Fettle + Food with a simple but powerful belief: that everyone deserves to feel strong, energized, and at home in their body.

Her own journey through disordered eating, athletic recovery, and discovering the transformative power of food as fuel drives everything she does. As a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and ultrarunner, Ann brings hard-won, real-world experience to every client. Running extreme distances has taught her how to fuel for performance, manage the mental game, and build resilience that lasts.

At Fettle + Food, Ann's mission is straightforward: to support people at every stage of their health journey with practical tools, personalized guidance, and the kind of coaching that actually sticks.

Liv Rahal

Liv Rahal

Registered Dietitian · Director of Coaching

Liv is a Registered Dietitian and the Director of Coaching & Client Experience at Fettle + Food. She's licensed across British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.

She supports clients in building a stronger relationship with food, understanding their nutrition, and learning how to fuel their bodies in a way that aligns with their goals and activity levels. Liv has worked in long-term care, lifestyle medicine, bariatric surgery, and clinical care, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology that shapes how she helps clients fuel for both training and everyday life.

Her philosophy is rooted in perspective: you don't have to do this… you get to. When that shift happens, consistency becomes a lot easier to build.

Coaching Style

Supportive, approachable, and rooted in making things feel achievable. She meets clients where they're at and works alongside them to build a plan that fits their real life.

Fun Fact

Liv firmly believes leopard print is a neutral and will find a way to incorporate it into almost anything. Consider it part of the uniform.

Elissa Carroll

Elissa Carroll

Certified Nutrition Coach · CPT

Elissa's journey into health and fitness started with years of struggling with weight and body image.

Like many, she fell into the cycle of undereating and over-exercising, trying to follow what she thought she should be doing. It didn't take long to realize that approach wasn't sustainable, and that there had to be a better way.

That realization led her to dive into nutrition for both health and performance, discovering how powerful the body can be when it's properly fueled. She became a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM in 2018 and later a Certified Nutrition Coach through the Nutrition Coaching Institute, combining both to help clients create lasting, realistic change.

Coaching Style

Supportive, honest, and accountability-driven. She tailors her approach to each individual while helping them build sustainable habits that create real, lasting results.

Fun Fact

Elissa is happiest outdoors or with family and friends. If she's not in the gym, there's a good chance she's on a trail or planning her next adventure.

Heather Davey

Heather Davey

Nutrition Coach · CPT

Heather's journey into nutrition and fitness began through her own struggles with body image and competing in a fitness competition in 2017.

That experience sparked a deeper commitment to understanding the science of fueling the body and helping others escape the cycle of diet culture. Heather works with clients who want to heal their relationship with food, build strength, and sustainably improve body composition. She's passionate about moving people from confusion to confidence through knowledge, structure, and realistic routines that challenge all-or-nothing thinking.

Coaching Style

Structured but flexible, rooted in education and building sustainable habits rather than rigid rules. She meets clients where they are, helping them develop the knowledge and confidence to make informed choices.

Fun Fact

Loves a good jelly-stuffed doughnut, mountain views, and a fun casual bike ride. She always says it's easier to do nothing after you've done something. :)
